Individual treatment responses following a constraint-induced movement therapy (CIMT) program, as measured with the assisting hand assessment (AHA, bimanual hand use). Vast inter-individual variation in treatment response is seen following CIMT (1 h/day, 5 days/week for a period of 10 weeks in children age 4–12 years). Changes in AHA score of 5 or more units surpass the smallest detectable difference (personal communication with Klingels based on study results published in Ref. 46).
