The average size/distribution and particle morphology of CNC from unmodified gel/suspension (10 wt %; CNCS) and in powder form (CNCP) were determined using DLS and TEM measurements, respectively. The hydrodynamic diameter (Zavg) from DLS and the average length and widths estimated from TEM images were represented as mean ± SD. The reported Zavg values correspond to a mean of at least three different measurements.
