(a) Adults showed significant MRS in multiple brain regions, including bilateral intraparietal sulcus (IPS) and supramarginal gyrus (SMG) in posterior parietal cortex, inferior and middle frontal gyri (IFG, MFG) in prefrontal cortex, anterior temporal cortex (ATC), and right ventral temporal-occipital cortex (VTOC). (b) Children, in contrast, did not show significant MRS in any brain region. Color intensity indicates the MRS levels (T-score) in each group.
