CAII^−/− CAIV^−/− mice are subfertile and display reduced sperm motility. A, CASA analyses were performed to characterize the sperm population of WT, CAII^−/−, and CAII^−/− CAIV^−/− mice. Velocity and motility are reduced in CAII^−/− and in CAII^−/− CAIV^−/− sperm, whereas the percentage of immotile sperm is increased significantly. Sperm concentrations (sperm conc.) are not affected.
