Summary results table. This table describes the magnitude and direction of the effect of ART on virulence depending on (i) whether it were to be measured soon after the introduction of ART (‘early’ = within 50 years) or centuries later (‘late’), (ii) the balance of the R₀s of the two strains, and (iii) the relative importance of ‘low CD4’ transmissions to both strains.
