Csf1^op/op(Op/Op) and wild type (WT) Csf1^+/+mice express similar levels of Kit mRNA. Relative Kit expression was statistically significantly lower in diabetic WT Csf1^+/+ mice with delayed gastric emptying (GE) compared with diabetic WT Csf1^+/+ mice with normal GE (^aP = .03, t test), but there were no statistically significant differences when correcting for multiple comparisons (one-way analysis of variance, P = NS). Data are mean ± standard error of the mean; n = 5 mice. Age of mice: 20–22 weeks.
