High Harmonic efficiency () is determined by the geometrical parameters of the grating and represents the most efficiently diffracted harmonic in the first order, with its equivalent energy in brackets assuming a 790 nm fundamental wavelength. σ is the number of grooves per millimeter. is the temporal dispersion for two particular energy values calculated by ray tracing, and is the energy dispersion, obtained using Equations (1) and (2).
