From left to right columns are the histograms for FCTs constructed with T2*-weighted signals, TE1 and TE2 of T2-weighted signals. The average correlation (red) is defined to be the average of the three eigenvalues, and the largest correlation (blue) is the largest eigenvalue. The projected correlation (green) is the projection of FCTs constructed with T2-weighted signals onto the major eigenvector from T2*-weighted signals, with projection of tensor T along direction v defined to be v•T•vt. Curves are fitted values and vertical lines are the mean value of each histogram. ΔT2*, ΔTE1 and ΔTE2 denotes the value difference between the vertical lines for T2*, TE1 and TE2 weighting respectively. White matter voxels in the middle 15 slices of the brain are used for the histogram analysis.
