During retrieval, significant differences in posterior hippocampus connectivity between APOEɛ4 carriers and noncarriers were found in a single cluster including left auditory cortex and some superior temporal gyrus (teal). The peak coordinate for the cluster is reported in MNI space, in x, y, z planes (mm). For illustration of the direction and magnitude of the difference between groups, contrasts of parameter estimates from each cluster are plotted by group in boxplots. The band within the box represents the median while the upper and lower edges of the box represent the first and third quartiles, respectively. The whiskers extend up to 1.5 times the interquartile range. Data points outside this range are plotted as outliers.
