Application of biopanning with phage-displayed random peptide libraries. Random peptide libraries displayed on phages can be used for a number of target candidates, including purified antibodies (B-cell epitopes), receptors (agonists or antagonists), enzymes (enzyme inhibitors), and carbohydrates (antigen-mimetic peptides).
