Analysis of purified rod component proteins by size exclusion liquid chromatography. Elution profiles of the rod components were determined using a Superdex 200 HR 10/30 column. (A) The column was equilibrated with a buffer containing 20 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.5) (−NaCl). (B) The column was equilibrated with a buffer containing 20 mM Tris-HCl and 250 mM NaCl (pH 8.5) (+NaCl). A total amount of 500 μg of each protein was loaded in a volume of 500 μl.
