Anomalous $\gamma \left(T\right)$ dependence. (A) Alkane–water interfaces, decorated by C₁₈TAB surfactant, undergo IF at $T=T_s$, yielding a positive temperature slope of the interfacial tension γ at $T<T_s$. The γ-values of the emulsion droplets (green squares) agree with those measured for a planar interface (blue circles) and for pendant millimeter-sized drops (red triangles).
