Briefly, 1.0 cm² full-thickness excision wound was made on the mid-back of rats on day 0, skin tissue surrounding the wound was then locally injected with scramble or CAR-specific siRNA duplex on day 1 and 3. (B) Skin tissues surrounding wounds from day-7 and day-14 rats were excised and subjected to immunoblotting. β-Actin served as an equal loading control.
