Polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs) express Lewis X (Le^x) but not Lewis B (Le^b) or Lewis Y (Le^y). A: Protein lysates were prepared from human PMNs or T84 intestinal epithelial cells and immunoblotted with monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against Le^x (W6D3 and H198), Le^b, or Le^y. B: CD11b/CD18 purified from human PMNs was run on a gel and stained with Coomassie Blue.
