Incubation in a rich medium maintains the observed Gm resistance at 26°C. Bacteria were cultivated in general growth media, suspended in trypticase soy broth supplemented with 0.1% cysteine (TSBc), and treated with Gm at the indicated temperature. Bacteria were diluted and plated for viable CFU at the indicated times. Plotted values represent mean CFU ± SD.
