(A) Immunofluorescence assays using phalloidin rhodamine (5 units/ml, Invitrogen) were performed to visualize the cytoskeleton (F-actin); cell nucleus was counterstained with DAPI (4',6-di amidino-2-phenylindole) in ZnO-NRs treated T98G cells. Each figure has scale bar of 10 μm. (B,C) Micronucleus (MN) assay was performed to visualize cell micronuclei in ZnO-NRs treated T98G cells and micronucleus was counted using microscopy and representative MN frequency was shown in all nanostructures treated glioma cells. Error bars represent the ± SD (n = 3). Student’s t-test was performed, *p < 0.05, δp < 0.01, and #p < 0.001.
