ALL2 transcription was highly induced under glucose starvation (A) and in asparagine stress medium (B). The transcription of ALL2 was measured by RT-PCR in RNA obtained from cells incubated in YNB without glucose and in YNB with 0.2 or 2% glucose for 8 h, as well as from cells incubated in asparagine medium without glucose for 3 h at 37°C. The ACT1 gene was used as a control. (C) RT-PCR analysis confirmed the microarray results showing the upregulation of transport-related genes in RC2-all2Δ cells, including H⁺-ATPase (CNN01260).
