(a) Typical blocking force vs. immersion time behaviour for different fibre volume content and fibre/matrix interface modification via maleic anhydride (MA). A two step behavior with a large increase of force for short immersion time is observed for all the analogues, followed by a loss of linearity. High fibre content induces a slight reduction of the force after the maximal value is obtained. SEM observations.
