No differences in glucose tolerance (A) or insulin sensitivity (D) were apparent between WT(WTbm) and WT(ARKObm) mice at baseline (prior to high-fat feeding). After 8 weeks of a high-fat diet, a trend was observed toward improved glucose tolerance in WT(ARKObm) mice relative to WT(WTbm) mice (B) in the absence of differences in insulin sensitivity (E).
