Comparison of mean minor axis length before and after vestibular stimulation for all age groups tested. No linear interaction was found between the effect of the vestibular stimulus and ageing (p > 0.05, repeated measures ANOVA). Post hoc comparisons showed non-linear, age-related differences in minor axis length between 1-month-old mice (n = 3) and 10 (n = 7, p < 0.01), 13 (n = 6, p < 0.01), and 27–28-month-old mice (n = 8, p < 0.01).
