Titration of fluorescent CPPs by LUVs (100 nm) made of DOPG. The fluorescence intensity at the maximum is measured. The wavelengths of the maxima change only very weakly over the course of the titration (<2 nm). Below is depicted the evolution of the fluorescence of individual fluorophores bound to CPP in the presence of increasing concentrations of LUVs. (a) Titration of fluorescent CPP (500 nM). (b) Titration of 1% of fluorescent CPP (5 nM) in the presence of a large excess of its acetylated analogue (99%, 495 nM).
