Yellow residues are consensus residues while blue or green residues represent residues replaced with other residues of similar characteristics. Sequence alignment was performed with Vector NTI (Invitrogen). UNIPROT accession number for ZmPAT14 is CPOBY3 and for TaPAT14 is W5B4H0. (B) Transcript analysis of ZmPAT14 or TaPAT14 in pat14-2.
