H1299 and H157 cells were treated with the indicated concentrations and time-points of triptolide A. and celastrol B. alone, or similarly as described in Figure 3 for 48 h C. Knockdown of HSP70 and HSP27 enhances the antigrowth effects of triptolide in combination with celastrol D. The protein expression was examined by Western blot after lysing cells, and β-actin was used as loading control. The representative Western blot results of three independent experiments were shown. *P < 0.05 and **P < 0.01 vs. corresponding control.
