A. Nude mice were subcutaneously injected with 1.5 × 106 HTB-57 cells stably transfected with shIL13Rα2 or shCTRL. Tumor volumes were measured every five days after tumor cell implantation for 28 days. Data are presented as the means ± SD and compared between groups using the t-test. P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant between the two groups. B. Representative images of lung metastases of HTB-57 cells. Nude mice were tail vein injected with 1.5 × 106 HTB-57 cells stably transfected with shIL13Rα2 or shCTRL. Numbers of lung metastases in nude mice were counted after 8 weeks (data are presented as the means ± SD; n = 8 mice per group).
