Quantitative analysis of the early and late apoptosis rate (*P < 0.05, **P < 0.01 compared with control group; Δ*P < 0.05, TMZ+MET vs single drug). C, E. Western blots were performed to verify the combination effect for U87 GSCs and U251 GSCs. Compared with single drug, the GSCs treated with TMZ+MET, the protein levels of caspase-3 and Bax significantly increased, and Bcl-2 decreased.
