Values are mean ± s.e.m. (n = 3) and bold face denote higher levels. For days 2 and 4, values in bare and bulk planted soil were compared using Student t-test. For days 6, 8, and 10, the effect of sample type was tested using ANOVA, with post-hoc comparison using Tukey-Kramer test.
