Confocal microscopy analysis of HeLa cells incubated with 5 μM DEACM–InsP₇ 9 in the presence or absence of transporter 11 after 4 and 16 h of incubation. Efficient uptake of 9 is demonstrated by blue coumarin fluorescence emitted from the compound. Cells treated with (a) 9 alone for 4 h, (b) 9+11 for 4 h, (c) 9 alone for 16 h and (d) 9+11 for 16 h.
