In vivo study of the effect of hG3PP overexpression. Rats were injected with adenovirus expressing hG3PP (n = 6) or GFP (n = 5), and, on day 7, a glycerol load test was performed. Expression of hG3PP in liver was assessed and plasma glycerol and TG levels were measured before glycerol load (mean ± SEM; *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, and ***P < 0.001).
