For clarity, the traces are offset by 15 pN each. At this speed, we can observe the complete native pattern (blue) and the not completely refolded molecules (red). (B) The same as A but for a different molecule. To estimate the overall folding rate of Hsp90 monomers at this folding speed, we evaluated the refolding probability of five molecules (238 traces). The average of the individual refolding probabilities is 36% ± 7% (SD).
