The indicated cells were treated with a proton beam at a strength of 8 Gy, and their proliferation was monitored alongside the non-treated cells. (A) Cell proliferation assay using cell counting kit-8 was carried out for a normal cell line, MCF-10A, and cancerous cell lines MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231.
