The gut (foregut and midgut) was dissected from one week-old female CPB adult under ice-cold 1× PBS solution. Luminescent P450 activity assays were performed using commercially available (Promega) P450-Glo substrates Luciferin-Be, Luciferin-H, or Luciferin Me. The data shown are the mean + SEM (n=3). Statistical significance of the gene expression between two samples was calculated using Student’s t test. **p-value < 0.01.
