Eleven patients with false negative PET-CT findings showed suspected lesions on abdominal CT but no or only mildly hypermetabolic lesions on PET–CT. b) PET–CT detection of recurrences in areas not covered by abdominal CT. Of 19 patients with false negative CT findings, 11 showed no recurrent lesion or only a benign reactive change, while eight patients had recurrences in areas not covered by abdominal CT such as the supraclavicular LN and lungs
