Widespread metastatic disease in malignant melanoma with pancreatic metastases in a 65-year-old man. (A) Coronal T2-W HASTE sequence shows a well-defined rounded lesion in the pancreatic head with intermediate signal intensity, slightly higher than the surrounding normal pancreas. Another metastasis can be seen inferiorly to the stomach. (B) High resolution T2-WI reveals a hypointense rim around the well-circumscribed, slightly hyperintense lesion. Another metastatic nodule can be found medial to the left kidney.
