N-Hydroxybenzimidazoles inhibit T3SS-mediated cytotoxicity. PA103 was incubated with DMSO (2.5%) or the indicated N-hydroxybenzimidazole (125 μM) for 15 min at 25°C prior to incubation with CHO cells for 90 min at 37°C.
