Immunized group contained serum isolated from immunized mice, 1 × 10⁶PMN and 10⁵ CFUs heat-killed P. aeruginosa cells, while negative control group contained sera without PMNs. Serum isolated from immunized mice has higher killing activity against homologous strain (ATCC 27853 and PAO-1) cells than that of the controls (serum isolated from unimmunized mice). Results represent three independent experiments and are expressed as mean ± SD (n = 5, ANOVA, *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01).
