Log-transformed outcome so estimates and CIs are ratios of geometric means rather than differences of arithmetic means. Log-transformed CRP was used as the independent variable of interest. Analyses are adjusted for height, BMI, and pack years smoking. DLCO and DLCO/VA analyses are also adjusted for exhaled carbon monoxide and haemoglobin.
