Quantitative MR images and respective color maps of a TFCC sample in coronal plane, obtained with (A to D) multi-echo spin echo T2 (ME SE T2), (E to H) ultrashort echo time (UTE) T2*, (I to L) two-dimensional spiral chopped magnetization preparation (2D SCMP) T1rho, and (M to P) UTE T1rho techniques. Images obtained at (A, E, I, M) the shortest echo time (TE) or spin-lock time (TSL) exhibit higher signal intensity in the region of the TFC disc and the laminae compared to the images obtained at (C, G, K, O) longer TE or TSL. In regions of interest representing the TFC disc and the laminae, voxel-wise exponential fitting was performed to obtain (D, H, L, P) color maps reflecting spatial variations in quantitative MR properties.
