EMMPRIN blocking antibody attenuates TGF-β1 induced lung fibroblast proliferation, migration and differentiation to myofibroblast: NHLF were stimulated with TGF-β1 (0-10 ng/ml) in the presence of either EMMPRIN functional blocking antibody or IgG control antibody examined for (a) Cells proliferation using [3H] thymidine incorporation; (b) Cell migration using a modified Boyden chamber assay.
