(a) Expressions of α2 and α5 integrins mRNA decreased to less than 20% after siRNA knockdown for 2 days. (b) Comparison of ALKP activity between α2 or α5 integrin silencing and controls. ALKP activity of differentiating MSCs in the 3D scaffolds or on the 2D flat gel was analyzed at 7 and 14 days of culturing in the osteogenic medium. Data were represented as mean ± SD, n = 3. Results were normalized by those of MSCs on the flat gel with the control group. Group with inhibition was compared to that without.
