WT cells were incubated with DMSO or EGFR inhibitor AG1478 (1–100 μm) for 30 min prior to treatment with MPs (Approx 40,000 MPs/mL) for time points indicated (0, 0.5, 1, 2, 24 hrs). Cells were then harvested, separated by SDS-PAGE and blotted for the indicated proteins. Inhibition of EGFR with AG1478 blocked phosphorylation of p65 (A) and inhibited upregulation of ICAM-1 in a concentration dependent manner (B).
