Single-cell movement is unbiased by all measures. The six bias measures are shown for single-cell movement in a gradient of 0.5 nM/mm EGF (Fig. 1E of the main text), taking as the fundamental unit (A) a single cell (analogous to Fig. S3A) or (B) the net displacement of all single cells originating from a single organoid (analogous to Fig. S3B). In both cases, the response is not significantly biased, and the absence of bias is robust to the choice of measure.
