Absence of directional sensitivity in individual cells is not a byproduct of P-cadherin knockout. Motile MTLn3 single cells (A) and single cells from dispersed WT organoids (B) were deposited in the 0.5-nM/mm EGF gradient and 2.5-nM uniform EGF distribution for 3 d. No statistically significant accumulation of cells in different sections of the device was noted, indicating absence of directional sensitivity, just like for the P-cadherin knockouts (Fig. 1E of the main text).
