The Rosenzweig–MacArthur model solved with GEMs with body size as the evolving trait. Body size was linked first to the area of capture parameter (left column), then to the conversion efficiency parameter (middle column), and finally to both parameters (right column). Body mass was mapped to area of capture and conversion efficiency using allometries from DeLong et al. (2015), and the remaining parameters were = 0.005, = 0.005, = 0.6, = 500.
