Krt4- and Krt10-expressing cells do not proliferate. Ten-micron sections of eyelids were triple stained for Ki67 (white), keratin 4 (Krt4; red), and Krt10 (green) at P9 (A) and P11 (B). Ki67-positive cells were present in the cells surrounding the acini. A few Ki67-positive cells were also found outside the central duct (arrows). Ki67 was not present in the Krt4 and Krt10 cells.
