BrdU-labeled cells were identified with a rhodamine filter (a) and Hu-labeled neurons were identified with a FITC filter (b). Double-labeled neurons were identified by alternating between these two filters and by using a dual FITC-rhodamine filter to show co-localization of the two markers (c).
