Pattern of change in FEV₁ after 8 min of vigorous exercise inspiring dry air at a ventilation exceeding 50% of maximum, in a normal healthy subject without exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB) and in subjects with mild, moderate, or severe EIB. The severity of the response is based on the maximum fall in FEV₁ in the 20 min after exercise expressed as a percentage of the baseline value.
