(a) PS341 inhibits HCC and CRC cell growth in a time and dose dependent manner. 5 nM, 10 nM or 20 nM PS341 were introduced into the medium of L02, HepG2, Huh7, FHC, HT29 and LoVo cells for 24 h, 48 h and 72 h. The inhibition of cell viabilities was measured by the method of CCK8. (b) PS341 induces apoptosis of HCC and CRC cells. The apoptosis cells were detected with Annexin V-FITC and PI staining. (c) PS341 induces apoptosis identified by Hoechst 33342 staining. The cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and stained with Hoechst. Scale bar = 25 μm. (d) PS341 induces apoptosis identified by DNA ladder assay. The whole assay was repeated three times. Data are presented as mean ± SD. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01.
