Electroacupuncture stimulation at CV4 prevents bone loss in an estrogen deficiency model. Hematoxylin and eosin staining revealed ovariectomy-induced deterioration of the trabecular microarchitecture owing to the destruction of the trabecular bone in the femoral head (magnification, ×10).
