Infection of Jurkat cells with HIV-1 induced PKCθ phosphorylation at T538. Phosphorylation of PKCθ at T538 in Jurkat E6-1 infected with the infectious clone NL4-3_wt for 7 days (A) were analyzed by confocal microscopy and compared with uninfected cells (B). Progression of the infection was determined by quantification of HIV-1 p24 (ng/ml) 7 days postinfection (C).
