Kissing complexes arise from tetrahedrons with varying number of loops at the same vertex. Gel analysis of the formation of kissing complexes with respect to yield between one-, two- and three-loop tetrahedrons (light gray circles) and the complementary three-loop tetrahedron (dark gray circle) by native 8% PAGE in the presence of 11.5 mM Mg2+ (representative result of at least three independent repetitions).
